The Lakes Stock is mainly Carp and Rudd, although reports of individual Tench and Roach being caught have been reported to us, we have not been able to confirm these reports from members of the public and until we can, would take these as a fisherman tale.
The lake is open to the public, but the ALEXANDRA PALACE A.A are strict on fishing only being allowed in the two fishing areas which are clearly marked off by Ropes/Floats in the main Long area and floating plants beds in the other, and fishing is only allowed during daylight hours when the boats are open to the public inside these allocated areas.
The use of radios are only allowed if using an ear piece, Electronic Bite alarms must be used on low volume settings at all times.
Boilies may only be fed using PVA bags/webbing or on a stringer.
No loose feeding of Bolies or over baiting will be tolerated.
Night fishing is only available to registered Alexandra Palace Angling Association Club members only, although we do allow members to take a guest, but they have to inform the Angling Clubs Chairmen of the dates of the nights they intend to fish and must supply these details and those of their guest before permission to fish will be granted.

Venue Website:

Standard Coarse tactics score best, if using Carp gear or Leads please note that the lake bed has a fair depth of silt, so do not go to heavy. Also please note the fishery Rule that Bite Alarms should be set to their quietest settings at all time Day or Night

Although Boilies are allowed these are not the best baits used to catch the Carp. Maggots or Corn tend to be the better baits and as members of the public feed the ducks on the lakes, bread flake can be expected to also produce fish

Currently Free with EA rod license Although this looks like it will be changing pretty soon - please see User Review on behalf of Alexandra Palace Angling Association. Season Tickets/Club Membership 30 Adults - 15 Juniors/OAPs

Current Pricing Changes

Posted on behalf of Mr Kevin Pestell, Chairmen Alexandra Palace Angling Association PLEASE NOTE at this current moment in time, We are not taking season tickets and the venue is free fishing. This decision was taken by the club, due to a major fish kill a few years back and we have decided not to charge until the fish stocks recover, this is happening slowly, due to Cormorant preditation. We are expecting this arrangment to change in the very near future. Please contact Alexandra Palace A.A for the latest information
